this is the kind of thing that i'd expect to see people post about online as a missed opportunity and i'd think "damn, that's such a good idea, the devs should've done that" so major props to them for actually doing it

I've never heard of this and that's such a completely bizarre concept but I'm intrigued and kinda want one even though it doesn't look super good

I'm only 3 or so games in right now, but yeah the library isn't anything crazy impressive. The screen is small and the worst thing is THERE IS NO BACK LIGHTING. Like, this was announced but I didn't read too much about it before pre-ordering it because I'm bad at impulse purchasing weird niche gaming things. But I do a lot of my handheld gaming at night in bed and it makes it impossible to play because my spouse is trying to sleep.

Game quality is also very much itch.io. Like, good itch.io but still itch.io. Like "oh hey that was kind neat" but nothing here is coming near a best of all time list. And I'm playing the "good" games still so I'm afraid of what's hiding in the depths here.
