I will admit this was the final movie I marathoned during my due date marathonfest. I still don't know how much higher this could've gone and I still feel like this placement is earned. It is a three part film where 2/3 of the content is just not good. It is one of those movies that thinks being weird is the same as being unsettling and the final two parts here don't even really get that right. I agree that even in three bite sized chunks, each chunk still felt long and like they were stalling. I also got "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" vibes but only the worst parts of that. Like we got the Walmart knockoff "Frightening Anecdotes To Verbalize When The Lights Go Out". The first story was the strongest and even that wasn't all that great. I feel like this might've worked if maybe if they reworked the stories here a little bit and did something like 5 20 minute ones instead of 3 30 minute ones. 1>accidentally bumping the controller and going back to the menu on Netflix for a glorious 15 second respite>3>2 --- Moops?
