Rusted Root - When I Woke

One of my all-time favorite albums and one I've wanted to see get done for a while now. Best known for Send My On My Way, but the entire album is fantastic and deeply unique start to finish. It's listed as "worldbeat roots rock" which I guess is accurate because I don't really know what else you'd call it, it's just a ton of fun.

Lawrence - Living Room

A brother/sister duo that's taken off in the last five decade for having a sort of blues/funk/pop vibe and absolutely incredible vocals. Wasn't sure which album to go with out of the 3 they've put out, only because each is a banger. Ultimately chose the one with my favorite song by them.

Montaigne - making it!

If you know Montaigne it's probably for one of two things: 1. Technicolour, their performance as the Australian rep at Eurovision or 2. Tom Cardy's Human Centipede song.
