Sumeru was just "sages are up to some scummy stuff," which did turn out pretty awesome with the heist film bit, but then kinda flattened after that. I have high hopes for where Fontaine might be going with the lore. If nothing else, I think the Fontaine cast might have higher potential story-wise.
