Extra mention oh i guess alice escaped is on console now

Also while AC6 gets tragically low (for what it is) 85 averages now and less reviewers taking interest in it than Blasphemous 2 (at the same score), it feels like a good time to bring up how other stuff is actually reviewing again

BG3 at 96 as everyone probably knows

Sclash on the other hand sitting on a poor 60 average from 3 reviews (a 4/10, a 3/5 and an 8/10), with criticism drawn to its undercooked mechanics and lack of online play on launch

unfortunately all the the stuff from the start of the month i'd mentioned has been entirely missed by reviewers (even banchou tactics). that said I can say on steam at least harumachi toroidal has a 100% positive rating (from 27 reviews), 98% for enjoy the diner (from 83 reviews, it got one negative review from somebody saying they refused to even open the game once so lol, guess they were never going to enjoy it), and banchou has 80%. also of note, xenotilt also has 98% (from 129 reviews)

Verne: The Shape of Fantasy apparently came out this month (i didn't notice till now) and has a modest 5/10, 6.5/10 and "worth your time" rating, for what it's worth, though it definitely sounds more lacklustre than i expected

Affogato sitting on a modest albeit markedly better 72.5 from 4 reviews, mostly criticising a lack of side content in its hub world and poor sprite work on it (both are valid really, the hub was of clearly minimal focus the whole time throughout development despite how integral it is, understandably considering the small dev team already having their hands full with the core game, art and voice casting)

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk also appears to have fairly middling reviews with an average of 70 from (surprisingly only) 6 reviews to date, despite getting overwhelmingly positive reception (98%) from over 4k reviews on steam. I guess that's the power of jet set radio's polarising reputation

And it's not out till next week but OU got a preview on gameblast already and... unfortunately it's also sounding solid but flawed with a 65 (6.5) score, accompanying critique on its limited environmental interaction, repetitive structure and typos in the english localisation which are all not good signs

Also since it's out on all the platforms it was announced for now at least, i figured it'd be fine to also check on ghostpia s1, which is now at a 78.5 average from 8 reviews, with most of its lower reviews amounting almost entirely to "i won't rate this higher because it's not a video game" (there was still one who just couldn't get comfortable with the tonal whiplash it focuses on which is fair)
