Topic | Why is WandaVision and Loki Marvel's only TV successes? |
Euripides 09/02/23 8:57:29 AM #16: | I was excited about the early Disney+ shows because they were dealing with either the aftermath of Endgame and/or the blip in different ways. WandaVision was a very character-specific look at this (though it jumped the shark by the end). Falcon and the Winter Soldier had a great opportunity to give us a more macro look at how the blip disrupted life on Earth, but it was trying to be four different shows at once. Loki was a look into the Multiverse from a villain's point of view.
The other series all felt like one-offs or origin stories (which may or may not eventually tie into this multiverse story) and had varying levels of success. I enjoyed Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk for what they were, but hated Moon Knight. Werewolf seemed like a complete waste of time --- people who car cars a whip are so cringe ... Copied to Clipboard! |
