Time for people to drive manuals, or as my boss calls them, a millennial anti-theft device.

Millennials are nowhere near teenage years anymore, but your point is taken.

It was premediated regardless. It's not like you have to have a big planning session with blueprints and diagrams for a murder to be considered premeditated. The fact that they saw the cyclist and deliberately swerved to kill him while being in a sound state of mind is sufficient evidence for premeditation.

Yeah, some time ago there was an incident where a cop was pursuing someone and through their dashcam we repeatedly heard him say "I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna kill this guy." This happens for minutes on the camera.

And then within seconds of interacting with the driver he shoots them like 14 times, and they die.

Andre the lawyer tried arguing that it wasn't premediated, and I pointed out that there is no set amount of time that constitutes as "premeditation". It's not like they need to spend hours the night before laying out some whacky plan for murder.

It could be something as "look at that random dude over there, I'm gonna go kill him".

It can take seconds.
