He wasn't particularly preachy like some TV dads, but he was always there when they needed him and could be as accommodating or stern as the situation demanded but always supportive regardless of the circumstance. So yeah, I'd put him on the list. On the list, sure. But he isn't Top Tier because they wasn't central to the show.
