They differ from psychologists in the sense that that they are medical doctors and they prescribe you with medicine or other forms of treatment ost psychologists can't) They also understand conditions from a biological and neuro chemical perspective. Psychologists are better for psychotherapy. They can help with cognitive and behavioral stuff. The psychiatrists will ask a series of questions to you and your son related to ADHD and it will determine a diagnosis and treatment after. --- Less is more.
