| Zithers 09/23/23 2:45:24 AM #5: | hollywood is doing pretty bad. no new filmmakers in the past ten years that seem particularly interesting except for i guess jordan peele and greta gerwig who has already fucked off into franchise/IP vortex. american cinema will become a retrospective medium in the next 20 years probably as the 50s-60s guys like pta, wes, fincher, soderbergh, tarantino die off/retire. the contentification of the studios and streaming has really been a major death blow to the medium in the states.
