If you follow the characters and plot-line through Arrested Development, it's a pretty great dark comedy. My main problems with the office are Steve Carell is too ridiculous to be believable in a show that's supposed to be semi-grounded in real life office culture, and that the main character Jim that you're supposed to empathize with is basically a bully. Also Pam is so dull and unlikable... and these are supposed to be the characters you root for. --- Be careful: I was moderated for telling people not to commit illegal acts of assault and murder.
