The music thing is one of the things that the movie got massively wrong. It was essentially saying that the parental advisory sticker eventually got music completely sanitized to the point that nobody when makes new music anymore. Everyone just listens to commercial jingles. Instead we get things like WAP being a #1 hits these days. Swearing in music is far more accepted.
