My worst interview was my first interview, because I was nervous as shit, didn't want a job (I was 16 and forced to), and knew nothing about it. I was interviewing to be park services at Six Flags, basically a trash guy/sidewalk sweeper.

As part of the opening, the manager asked me about myself and - just to fill the air with words because I had nothing interesting to tell - I said that my brother was there also interviewing for security. The manager asked why I chose park services instead of security too, and I didn't have an answer for him. I couldn't even come up with something simple like "that's just more his style but I'm a meticulous person so I prefer to organize and tidy things up." I just froze because I was so afraid to say the wrong thing. I sat there for a moment and with every passing second I grew more anxious because the longer you wait the more awkward it gets. He saw what was happening and basically assured me it was fine because he was going to hire me anyway.

I quit after 2 months.

Nothing like that ever happened again.
