I feel like FF11 and 14 shouldn't really count as "mainline" since they're online. They may well be good games, but MMOs are just different. Like, what does it even mean to "beat" an MMO? I haven't played one. Even if you could define beating it as finishing some quest, being able to 100% complete them sounds like an arduous task, based on how MMOs in general are designed.They're more similar to regular games than you think. They have quests and stories you progress though, beating dungeons and bosses along the way, along with a final boss. They just... keep going after that. Like, imagine if FF7R 2 and 3 were just added onto the base game through patches and DLC over time. I'd say that anyone who beats the original final boss "beat" FF11 or 14. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
