I'm up and down on Sea of Stars Asterigos - 7 Trials of Mana - the original translated ROM I played was a 7 as well. Not as good as Secret of Mana, but the ideas it had with the story were cool. Haven't played Blasphemous 2, but the original was a 5. I was decidedly not as impressed as some people. Good art and I guess world-building, but the controls were stiff and the game was fairly punishing. It also made it a point to not explain anything in a meaningful way. Last Ys game I played was 8, which was pretty good. Not for everyone, but I enjoyed it. --- Only the exceptions can be exceptional. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
