Censored (Sub Zero, UMK3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6ABLtnvM1I Ask someone what the worst Mortal Kombat fatality is, and theyll likely answer with Quan Chis neck stretch, or Kanos DC fatality. I like to think its because weve all collectively repressed the memory of this fatality. Supposedly, its a shot at the ESRB because Mortal Kombat was one of the games that contributed to its creation, but Babalities and Friendships did the same thing in a funnier, more creative way, which makes this redundant. 540. Sliding Knockout (Sub Zero, MK Game Boy) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTRaaHLQon8 I assure you, this is a fatality! After watching that video, I had to watch a video of all the fatalities from the Game Boy version just to confirm that the uploader didnt misinput, and it looked the same in the second video too. The slide in the title not referring to the ice slide is extra disappointing. 539. No Heart Rip (Kano, MK SNES) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6XKxlRcgqM The SNES version of Mortal Kombat is infamous for being censored, and that extends to the fatalities. Some of them are pretty decent in all fairness, but this one suffers badly. Kano does his heart rip, but doesnt show off the heart. I can only conclude in the SNES version hes giving the opponent a purple nurple instead. I guess its effective on Liu Kang and Johnny Cage, since theyre fighting shirtless. 538. Forceful Shadow Kick (Johnny Cage, MK SNES) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRm5b5tclX8 I couldnt find a video of just this fatality, so Im improvising. Johnny puts his foot on the opponents chest and they shake a bit before falling down. His feet must be pretty stinky and sweaty from all the fighting hes doing. Scorpion and Sub Zero have masks to mitigate the worst of the smell, but this fatality at least affects more of the roster than Kanos. 537. Super Uppercut (Sub Zero, MK MD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mE7uHQt-K8 This is Sub Zeros fatality in the Mega Drive / Genesis version with blood off. Sorry Sub Zero, but thats just a regular move. Im done picking on you for today now if that makes you feel any better. 536. Flip Stomp (Kano, MK VS DC) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPOaxDDx1HU Green Lantern puts the Brutal into Heroic Brutality. He either takes inspiration from Ermac and crushes his opponent in a bubble, or smashes his opponents groin between two enormous hammers. No Damian Wayne or Cassie Cage here! He clearly didnt get the non-fatal memo. I bring this up because the memo was mistakenly given to Kano instead. --- Call from demon - with dark power to tempt your mind, very proud of the power.
