For the GBA version, Deadly Alliance was split into two games, with half the roster going to Deadly Alliance, and the other half in the second game, Tournament Edition. The latter sweetened the deal with three exclusive characters. Unfortunately, their exclusivity counts against them, as they have no fatalities to adapt from the console version. Hence, this slow, basic combo.

This is Raidens fatality in the Mega Drive / Genesis version with blood off. Unlike Sub Zeros uppercut earlier, I can at least believe Raidens opponent took lasting damage from this. Being electrocuted in the head cant be good for your brain.

533. Smoke Death (Smoke, MKT)

Here we have our first proper fatality eliminated. Smoke disappears, then his opponent stretches a bit before exploding. This would be better if he turned into smoke instead of just disappearing. It loses more points from Smoke not reappearing afterwards, implying that he died too. Any fatality where the winner dies too is getting marked down.

This ones just weird. Why does the opponent reform upside down? How are they able to maintain perfect balance after breaking into pieces? I guess it plays into Rain being introduced as a weird secret joke character. The glow-up he got in Armageddon is likely to thank for him becoming a mainstay in the Netherealm era. Luckily his other fatality in this game is a lot better.

531. Head Inflation (Kabal, MK3)

I could see how this fatality might be scary if youre a child playing this, but the silliness of it detracts from Kabals cool and scary factors. Not to mention, how can he shoot the pump out of his chest? Hes not a cyborg, although there may have been confusion since they were introduced in this game too.

530. Head Inflate Last Kiss (Kitana, UMK3 SNES MD)

Same deal as Kabals fatality just now, although Kitanas kiss as the inflation mechanism makes a bit more sense, as her deadly kisses are established in previous fatalities.

529. Fatality Steal (Quan Chi, MK4)

Quan Chi copies the opponents fatality. This was a tricky one to place by its nature, but since theres no additional animation of Quan Chi copying the opponent and he goes straight into the fatality, I decided to put it below the lowest ranked MK4 fatality. This probably isnt entirely fair, but it is what it is. What could the lowest ranked MK4 fatality be? Youll have to wait until next time to find out!
