Instead, putting the disc in takes you to your system's online store where you can download it. And after downloading it, you can't play it without the disc. Good old Konami, just as stupid and lazy as always. This doesn't really give me any faith in the upcoming Silent Hill games, even though they're being worked on by other studios. This isn't the first time they've done this, either.
