Mortal Kombat X and 11 saw Sonya go in a new direction with her fatalities. After getting promoted, shes gotten her hands on some fancy Special Forces tech, which she tends to use to finish her opponents. This one is the lowest ranked of these finishers because the parts feel too disparate. Losing either the smoke bomb or the lasers would tie it together better.

404. Face Feast (Mileena, MKX)

This is pretty similar to Mileenas MK9 fatality, but using her sai as leverage to pull the opponents head off, then using them as forks to eat the face is a better way of involving them than simply throwing them like she did in MK9.

403. Stop Ahead (Scorpion, MKX)

Although the second half of this fatality is really good, the first half doesnt add much. Considering the focus on the opponents heart dropping into the hole Scorpion has made in their chest, you would expect that to factor into the climax, so its a shame that it doesnt. This feels like two separate fatalities put together instead of one continuous one.

402. Straight to Valhalla (Rambo, MK11)

Rambo certainly thinks ahead, to have prepared a spike trap just outside the arena! The trap being triggered and impaling the opponent is the best part of this fatality. The throat rip is pretty brutal too. Who knew the T800 had a trachea?

401. Kutthroat (Sonya, MK9)

If youve ever played Hitman, you know how lethal fiber wire can be. Sonyas use of it is much less discreet than Agent 47s, however. This is another fatality that incorporates her athleticism into the kill with her flip over the opponent.
