Fafnir Changing to: Hydra: Legendary multiheaded beast from Greek mythology that regrows its heads. Bahamut: D&D, though also widely known from FF. Not very serpentlike unlike many others and that gives it additional edge. Jormungandr: Nordic mythology. (Very) Giant sea dragon that surrounds Earth/Midgard reaching head with tail, and slain by Thor. Smaug: Though it is iconic, I feel Fafnir should be here instead since it's said to be its inspiration in the first place and carries more weight, but I've already used the "nordic franchise" so... here it is. Chinese dragons are also iconic but there are various types (without a name that springs to mind) and I don't feel confident in choosing a single representative above the rest. Well actually I would use Shenron if I had a 5th spot. Tiamat is better represented by Hydra. --- Last finished: Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (PS2) (All Characters, modes and items), Clock Tower (SFC) (All endings). ... Copied to Clipboard! |
