It can be a number of things that led to the character model being rough despite clearly being based on a real person. Something could have gone wrong with the scanning process or the way the model is rigged via the engine used couldve unintentionally distorted things. Something similar happened with Jesse Faden from Control IIRC, not to mention Claire from the RE2 remake. What's wrong with giving them a little touch up after the face-scan?
