I have always seen praise for it and don't understand why. Seems waaaaay worse than 1.
- Dialogue is much worse by an order of magnitude. Especially everyone involved with Organization 13
- The pacing is the worst I've ever seen in a game. Everybody knows the intro is bad but even once you escape it's still terrible.
Like when you get to Hollow Bastion, you go to Merlins for 5 seconds > go into Poohs world for 10 seconds > back to merlins for 1 fight > back to poohs world. Then back out AGAIN after like 2 minutes.
- They expanded the gummy system which nobody asked for
- More gimmick sections like the carpet sections of agrabah. And personally Atlantis in 1 was way better as an awkward swimming level than a high-school musical level
- Like half the new levels are mostly empty space (Mulan having an empty capital during the ending was mega cringe). Pride Lands is 95% emptiness. Expanding Olympus was dope but it was mostly just empty black caverns
- The expanded combat stuff is the only upside I'm seeing and even that is mostly just QTEs.
What the hell am I missing here?
