Up until now the anti-trans trolls defending her have been able to ask to see which transphobic comments Rowling has made, giving them the facade of respectability by pretending that they just haven't seen her objectionable comments. Now though there's just so much out there that they've given up the facade and admit what they believed all along which is that 'transphobic' doesn't exist as a concept and thus Rowling can't have said anything transphobic.

It's a new phase of the hate spiral. Now they can't pretend to be the respectable ones any more. Further increased radicalization and explicit calls for anti-trans discrimination are where we go from here.

Indeed. She had been careful in the past. It's been part of this whole sordid affair how "above" she kept herself from engaging in the coarser language while being content to let the less celebrity of the anti-trans movement get absolutely vile.
