As far as I'm aware Kuro 1 was received very well and is considered among the best in the series, but Kuro 2 was somewhat more controversial for reasons I'm not clear on and I think necessitate talking about the plot of the game. This is mainly what I've gathered from Western Trails fans who have played the Japanese versions; I don't know what the Japanese fanbase thinks. --- I didn't do guru this year but azuarc can be in my sig anyways. ...
