Hm I guess like with most symmetrical board games, you want to find the asymmetrical advantages, since that's the only way to win.

The most obvious one is that a card's dots override the enemy's dots. So if you can place a card that overrides the enemy's only remaining dot on a lane, you have shut them out of the lane without having to actually fill the lane yourself. This gives you an extra move to use on a different lane, which is a huge advantage.

Next is focusing just 2 of the lanes, and forget about the 3rd. It's seems hard to lose if you win 2 lanes, which makes it a lot like Marvel Snap (I assume more complicated cards will change this later).
