And you're also directly defending both sides narratives right now. So much so you're claiming being disappointed by "Both Sides" defense of Trump that was embraced by the far right is being opposed to literally all criticism of Democrats whatsoever.

No, because all of that stuff is a given because the people that watch his show and know his political leanings already know that all of the shit that Trump does is obviously horrible. Nobody watching the Daily Show thinks anything positively about Donald Trump. Obviously. It's pointless.

2. It's a political commentary show. Going "Don't talk about things the audience has heard of (even though they likely haven't) you have to instead both sides!" is silly. You know it's silly. Should he not have done an episode on Israel/Palestine because the audience have all heard about Israel and Palestine? Utter tripe.

Imagine if after Russia invaded Ukraine you did 15 minutes on "Ukraine has a serious far right problem." without mentioning the invasion once. And then when challenged go "What? What did I do that was wrong? All I did was point out that there's a far right problem in Ukraine. Are you saying it's wrong to be against the far right? Do I have to criticize Russia every 5 seconds? Do you think people don't know Russa is bad!?"

Like, if he wanted to do an entire episode being critical of the Democratic party and their recent rightward shift and how that can be potentially causing the youth vote to lose enthusiasm, does he need to have a ticker running on the bottom that says "Trump is still obviously worse" the whole time or is he allowed to just make a video on that subject matter without having people suddenly claiming that he's "both sidesing"

He doesn't need to do that and no one is saying he should.

But not even mentioning, and I repeat again, Donald Trump openly saying he will be a dictator if elected, so he can both sides about Biden's age is pretty awful.

And why people like Musk and Daily Beast and other far right sources all embraced it.

You guys are lying through your teeth and pretending people are saying things that they aren't. They were criticing Jon for falling into that lame both sides pattern and not informing his audience about things that matter. Not criticing him for making fun of Biden.
