In real life, the last time I tried to correct someone was around 7ish years ago. It was on the death of Christopher McCandless (from Into the Wild book and movie). A real person.

My friend/coworker was telling me it was unfortunate that he died from eating those potato seed things. I tried to correct him by stating that he mainly died from starvation (dude was around 80 pounds at like 5'6-5'8 iirc) but ofc the seeds didn't improve matters. He would have died even if he hadn't ate the seeds since he wasnt eating enough calories off rabbits + other meager food sources and his most calorie-dense food source (the uhh moose iirc?) rotted.

Anyway my friend wasn't convinced at all so I just stopped the convo lol. He is the type to argue for a long while. Anyway rip Christopher McCandless
