Topic	Is there any game where you play as a cop and actually help someone?

LA Noire, I assume he does at least some helping between the doubting if I remember correctly only ONE person is helped in the entire game, and it's Kelso that does it (which might be part of the narrative) agesboy posted... Also in a way Disco Elysium, but it's a different form of government and the kind of cop the main character is is quite different.
