That was actually a double reference, in the Japanese version of Zelda II is a reference to Loto (Erdrick), then, in Final Fantasy, it was a reference to Link, the american version changed it to Erdrick. --- Once you're aware of your own art, you can train yourself to identify and replicate the "good" ones...
