Depending on how long your arm is out of commission, there are resources out there to 3D print accessories to let you manipulate the controller with one hand. Some of them can be a little pricey, but there's also a network that connects people who need these accommodations but can't afford them with people that are willing to donate their 3D printer time to supply them at a heavy discount. I was looking into this when I broke my elbow last year, though I didn't end up going for anything because I was only out of commission for two weeks (though I did really appreciate the accessibility value of Joycons, since I still had use of my hand and them being separate meant I didn't have to contort myself to line up my good arm with my sling-bound one). like to add: depending on what exactly the things are, i could be persuaded to offer my 3d printers to print stuff if it's some fiddly thing in a lot of pieces that require precises-ish assembling, i am unlikely to be able to do that, my 3d printer and/or filament isn't as precise as i'd like for that stuff --- see my gundams here https://imgur.com/a/F7xKM5r updated 2/28/24; hg rising freedom ...
