Here are a couple of more tips for you. When near a Rift Stone it will heal your Pawns.

Also when you are near a Rift Stone go in to it and come straight back out of it with out doing anything as doing so will create a hard checkpoint save which is a lot better than manually saving.

thanks! seems like an underdeveloped mechanic in the game, kinda brutal too

wasn't sure why I couldn't sleep in the rest houses or my own house
