As someone who played this after T&T (the Wii version had it as actual paid DLC), I find it baffling how badly this fits in with the Edgeworth plot line in JFA. "He left without a word, leaving only a note behind. Or not I guess lol." Phoenix's anger about it goes from justified albeit way over the top without this case to bafflingly petty with it. Aside from that, this is nearly as bad as pacing issues get for me. Like even future cases that are actually much longer, the only one that felt worse to me is E1-5. And the new mechanics do not translate away from the DS, if they were ever good there. The surveillance footage in particular was atrocious, and that one wasn't really even a DS thing AFAIK.
