You could save your loved ones lives holding onto these. It's absolutely worth way more than 500k to have more time with them. Hell do you have a pet? Can use it on them to cure whatever old age diseases they have. The worth in old age of fixing all joint pains and arthritis and back pain is absolutely insane too. People don't understand how worthless 500k becomes in the face of cancer or debilitating mental illnesses. Imagine taking the 500k and getting hit with alzheimers or dementia.
