It doesn't work that way, the bullets would simply push the hanging part out of the way and hit you. They talked about all the realism and authenticity on the guns n shit but then they come up with this stupid bullet proof suits and just holding them up in the air like that. I was like what the fuck. Then they kept doing it for the 3rd and 4th movie.
