To enjoy this case I basically HAVE to pretend that they didn't fuck up the premise from the very beginning. This case should take place ONE DAY after Maggey's conviction, not ONE MONTH. I have no idea why they did this! They didn't do anything interesting with the idea of it being a cold case, it mostly happens as if it just happened yesterday anyway (everything still looks like an active crime scene!), so I don't even know what the point of writing it this way was. Otherwise, I like everything about this case. Every investigation is fun (except for one annoying point where it's hard to figure out what to do next in the restaurant), the locations are all great and the characters are really enjoyable, the murder is interesting enough, it's just a fun case. I dunno why people seem to have a dislike for it.
