So hypnotic day after day~ I miss how fun it was running around town with semi-random themes. Much preferred over combat and dungeon exploration! I've been finding the same as I play through Trails. I'm much more entertained talking to people and seeing what they say every day than putting in the work to make sure peace reigns.

Note: How hasn't this retired in the VGMC yet?!

The nomination is listed as "An Approaching Nightmare Acoustic (Gods Eater Burst)" but I couldn't find any evidence that is a thing outside VGMC, and after going through a bunch of God Eater tracks, this sparked memory so I'm going with this. I also can't find any evidence it retired. As far as current me is concerned, it's an alright track. I enjoyed it okay enough to make top half. Never played the game.

Note: Chilling, adventurous, and secretive.

I've gone back and forth on where this one should place. It's a really excellent track for first getting out into the world and seeing that it's nothing like the sunny little village Ark grew up in, and feels weighted by recent Crystal Blue persuasions. It has the beautiful SNES grain. There are about twenty songs before it that it probably shouldn't beat, but the nostalgia is extremely strong for this track even if I didn't end up liking Terranigma much more after the Underworld.

Eleven years. Eleven years. Somehow Lindsey Stirling & Pentatonix doing an incredible cover of Imagine Dragons feels... like its still far too recent to be eleven years ago. This was peak internet. Great production, beautiful music, insane collaboration. Eleven years!!!
