Sorry FFD, you had to drop one at some point! This is a tough one to judge on the villainy angle, as I've seen multiple interpretations of what actually happened toward the end of the song. Essentially, Ahrima creates Lamps to give to the people of a new world (in this story, Ahrima seems to be an allegory for Lucifer) but after not being shown appreciation for the gift he gave the world by O (God) Barayas the Spider convinces him to destroy the lamps, which he does, causing firey chaos in his wake. But that's where it gets up for interpretation. Did he harm anyone in the fires? It says "their creation was burning" but "their creation" could refer to the lamps, the earth, or everything. It's hard to quantify exactly how much damage was done, and while it's clear that Ahrima acted out of anger (and Barayas' chaotic influence) it doesn't come across like his intention was to hurt people.

I do enjoy the song quite a bit though. As I've said before, I love a good back and forth in which the parties are both competent singers while still embodying their characters. I'm also a decently big Say Anything fan (fun fact, they were my first concert, I didn't know them much but a girl I liked in high school was into them so I listened to their three albums [they only had three at the time] on repeat until I had them all memorized before the concert). I'm ALSO a big fan of concept albums, and I'm definitely intrigued to check out all of Razia's Shadow
