I def prefer Lara as a character over Mario and her somewhat faded popularity is not to be understated , but there's no way she beats Mario in that regard. PiOverlord posted... Just imagine what Mario Kart 8 would have sold if it was on all platforms + steam. I wouldn't be surprised if it outsold GTAV tbh at that point. It would probably sell quite a bit more, but I highly doubt it would outsell GTAV.
