I think we were in the ~90% zone and that matches up with what I saw I think - still a thin crescent sliver of the sun up there. While it got colder and was still much dimmer than it should be given the time there was still more than enough light to see otherwise - kinda like a really cloudy day (even though in reality there weren't too many clouds.) --- May you find your book in this place.
