Yeah I got what you meant, flavor fit perfectly though, and he claimed somewhat unprovoked, he wanted potential kill control more than to save himself, momentum was singing away from him. I don't think it makes sense to think he lied unless you thought he was scum. Oh I did not think he would claim tracker as scum because there was (almost certainly) another killer out there that might kill him for it. Also it certainly was not unprovoked.
