Yeah I was the same. My boss told me it spoke volumes I got promoted to field training officer despite not being apart of the clique.

4 of us promoted at the same time the other 3 where part of it. And only one of them was semi deserving. Only reason I say semi is cause he hadn't worked a regular post in years but at least he knew to do things the right way when he did.
