In a report by CNN, it's reported that North American researchers found files containing production artwork for popular or upcoming animated programs like Invincible and Iyanu: Child of Wonder on a computer server located in North Korea. The production artwork appears to be the work of North Korean illustrators and graphic designers, suggesting third-party outsourcing that goes against the strict sanctions enforced by the United States. Animation directing instructions in Chinese translated into Korean and English text were written on the uncovered sketches. At the time of this reporting, there was no evidence to suggest these animated programs were intentionally outsourced to North Korea.
