Alright gents, game is semi-open, and you pick the opposing factions roles:
16 players
12 town 4 mafia
After sign ups are complete and the player list is decided, you will receive one of two faction pms:
Faction PM You are town. Yay! You win when you eliminate all members of the mafia and at least 1 town member is alive.
Faction PM You are mafia. Yay! You win when your team makes up 50% or more of the alive players, and nothing can change this.
Following this, the mafia will have 48 hours(from when faction pms finish) to choose 4 towns roles from the following list:
Town Weak Doctor You are Town Weak Doctor. You feel its your duty to help people, but you feel guilty helping the bad guys. Every night you go into he streets to help a person you think is in need. However, if you find that person is harming innocent civilians and you helped their cause, you'll kill yourself. Note: Dies if targets Mafia
Town Tracker You are Town Tracker. You love learning about other people. People think that you're just a creeper, but you prefer the term tracker. Every night you will spy on a person and learn what they did.
Town Bodyguard You are Town Bodyguard. You go out of your way to guard one person every night, even to the point that you will take a bullet for them. Too bad it's used and can only take 1 bullet, but it's still better than nothing! Good thing this body armor also will protect yourself as well. Note: 1 shot BP
Town Cop Your are Town Cop. You have a nagging wife though, so you can't go out at night too often. However, you are permitted out 3 times, so during these trips you can figure out if someone is guilty of commiting the crimes against the town or not. Note: 3 shot
Town Jack You are Town Jack of all Trades. You're like, mini Rambo. You have all his skills, you're just bad in comparison. During the night, you may use one of your actions: a kill, a watch, and a prosty scan. Each may be used one time. Note: vig, watch, prosty (non confirming, is informed if target performed a night action)
Town Jailkeeper You are Town Jailkeeper. Your job sucks, and you know it. This town is boring as crap, so every night you go out and arrest someone. Sure, you say you're protecting them and its for their own good, but everyone knows that you're just doing it to be a douche bag.
The Town will then receive one of the 4 chosen roles, or a vanilla pm:
Town Vanilla You are Town Vanilla. Congrats! Everything you've always dreamed to be and more! With your new found.. abilities... of voting and talking, you'll surely be unstoppable!
Day 0 then starts, Town and Mafia will have 72 hours to delliberate and vote on 3 of the following roles:
Mafia Roleblocker You are Mafia Roleblocker. You love to tie people up, so once a night you do just that. The person you choose will be unable to perform a night action.
Mafia Rolecop You are Mafia Rolecop. For some reason you have a gift reading people. Not just what they will do, but what they do. Being the nosey person you are, once a night you may find out exactly what another person does.
Mafia Godfather You are Mafia Godfather. The police have never been able to pin a crime on you. Because of this they have to assume you are innocent. Doctors feel the same way. You are also heavily protected, given that you are in charge of the mafia. This means if someone decides to try and kill you, you will not die. You also control who the mafia kills, you are their leader, afterall. Note: Inno scanning to Cop and Weak Doctor, Bulletproof
Mafia Janitor You are Mafia Janitor. You love cleaning things. It's an odd hobby that no one actually understands or questions, but because of your habit, you've learned to completely hide a body. You aren't rich enough to afford the neccessary cleaning tools though, so you can only do this once.
Mafia Assassin You are Mafia Assassin. A hitman for hire, in a way. Your excellent skill allows for you to kill anyone, but you're also very proud and will only kill someone you deem worthy. Because of your pride you refuse to work with anyone, especially that freaky guy who likes to clean up bodies, why would anyone want to hide a body? You also only have one shot to kill anyone as the mafia aren't worthy of using you twice, especially if they send you to kill one of those "Vanillas". Note: 1 shot, Can only kill a powerrole, bypasses all protection, cannot be tracked/watched, cannot stack with janitor
After this is done, mafia will be given either a power role or a vanilla role pm:
Mafia Vanilla You are Mafia Vanilla. Man, you have no luck Mafia AND vanilla? There is nothing worse, you even had a 75% chance at being a powerrole.
Voting is the same as standard game voting, except you have 3 votes.
Day 1 starts when either 3 roles are hammered, or 72 hours has passed and plurality has decided the roles.

It's funny because I said I would be available for the next game, and now I've got a bit of drama in my life which may involve not having internet for a good portion of time, so I can't sign up. D:
So Speedyoshi, this is a pretty neat experimental game. I was actually thinking you would experiment by not letting scum talk on the scumboard anymore after they die, since you were one of the vocal contenders of that point. Not intent on pushing that idea?

The community didn't like the idea, so I'm not going to force it. (I think if we tallied the votes it would've been like 20-3 in favor of against banning it). I will maintain my stance on the issue though.
Gonna have to retract my signup. FF6 Mafia ended far too early for my liking (>_>) and there's pretty much no way I'm active enough to my own liking/standards for D1 since it's basically during the time I'd be studying for my finals.
