I was about two hours into Dropsy when I was one of the playable characters (the mouse) only for the two other playable characters (Dropsy and the dog) to disappear forever. I had just saved when I went inside a building, and then the glitch came up.
Nothing will ever top the 20+ hours of progress I lost in Twilight Princess due to a saving and quitting glitch, but man, I can't get those two hours back. --- KCF can't actually be a real person but he is - greengravy http://i.imgur.com/VfpY7tg.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I 100% Whiplash (PS2), but one of the animals bugged out, and I couldn't get the secret ending.

The Mystery Dungeon one that would delete your Pokemon saves is the greatest example*. You're not ruining that game's save, you're ruining every other game's saves!
