Yes, and I'm loving the slow burn. It's amazing to think the show has maintained people's interest despite Saul not appearing in TWO AND A HALF SEASONS (though that might change soon!).

Though I'm going to hate it when Kim has her career destroyed, heart broken, or life straight up ended (no...) for going all-in with Jimmy to her doom. She might be the most likable character from either show.

This is the reason I keep up with the show, what an incredible episode, what a great show.

Bob Odenkirk (Saul) is one of the greatest actors working right now. He can do comedy and drama so easily, and can easily transition from one to the other.

yup. Kim is probably the straightest main character they've had on either show. everyone else has had a lot more grey than her - she's just bright, hard working and great. she carries the show in unexpected ways.

I can't tell if they're going to ruin her or not. my guess is mesa verde blows up in her face and everyone goes down greek tragedy style. I don't think she straight up dies or anything.

no way man. team Jimmy all the way. I would think most fans would be on board with this unless they're just looking for BB nostalgia.

Mike's plot is weird for season 3. it's kinda flying too close to the sun. seasons 1 and 2 had some minor character backstory and cool cameos from BB but this one is straight up fanservice. I'm enjoying it for sure but bringing back Gus/Don Eladio/etc is dangerous. and I bet they're not done.

This week's ep just flew the hell by, wasn't until the Exit sign zoom-out that I realized the episode was ending. Really glorious end and yes I was totally thinking Phoenix Wright time.

does anyone else think knowing how Saul turns out kinda ruins things in a way? I find myself cheering for Jimmy, hoping he can find a way to ruin Chuck/succeed/etc, but I know that he'll be managing a Cinnabon in the end.

was holding back the tears! goddamn i hate seeing family tear each other apart.

also, hell yeah jimmy storyline all the way. i feel like the mike arc has been getting too much screen time since s1, and it really just seems to me that they have it to keep all the breaking bad fans who love the action/thriller aspects more than anything else. not really getting anything new or nuanced from that whole thing. yeah, i get it mike is a relentless, methodical badass who can't ever be underestimated and he loves his granddaughter a lot.

definitely agree this has been better than brba was at the same point in that show.
