I don't know what genres you enjoy, but if you like nonfiction, I highly recommend Live from New York. Fantastically edited oral account from hundreds of people on the history of Saturday Night Live.
I also recommend All the President's Men by Bob Woodward. It's particularly appropriate to read in the current political climate. If you like fiction, I could recommend to if you're interested. --- "Reading would be your friend." ~Dave Meltzer ... Copied to Clipboard!

I love fiction. Doesn't have to be fantasy or sci-fi. I'll definitely put that nonfiction on my list. I've been reading a lot more of it lately, especially in my education classes. --- Posted using GameFlux ... Copied to Clipboard!

Kindred - Octavia Butler
Black American woman is transported through time and finds herself in slavery-era Maryland where she has to face some shit. One for the Murphys - Lynda Mullaly Hunt YA. Young girl is taken away from her mother after some shit and has to adjust to her new foster family & other shit. Tipping the Velvet - Sarah Waters Lesbians in Victorian England crossdressing, putting on plays and shit. Because You'll Never Meet Me - Leah Thomas YA/contemporary sci-fi. Two boys who have been isolated from society because of some shit they have going on become best friends through letters. A Doll's House - Henrik Ibsen Play about a middle aged woman in 1800s and her marriage and shit happens. A Visit From the Goon Squad - Jennifer Egan Interconnected stories about a bunch of characters that come together and tells you about all this shit that happens over many years. i like going into things relatively blind so i gave some generic reductive descriptions even about the "obvious shit" that you may have already read/heard of. --- i concede to BKSheikah, a better Guru and a better overall person ...
