Bret/Piper WM8, IC title, 1992

As someone who was a head conductor of the B8 Anti-Cena Bandwagon back in 2007 and wanted HBK to get one last world title run, the ending frustrated me so much back then. Still a great match, despite how it ended.

Just pissed that after that great bout, we got a solid month of Cena vs. fucking Khali...

Also, here's very few suggestions for WCW matches...

Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit - Nitro in October 1999 at the same arena where Owen Hart died five months earlier. It's arguably the best match WCW had in its final years.

Jung Dragons vs. Evan Karagias/Jamie Noble vs. 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore) - 3 way tag team ladder match at Starrcade 2000, the individual who grabs the prize at the top received a shot at Chavo Guerrero's Cruiserweight title

Goldberg vs. Scott Steiner at Fall Brawl 2000 - Yes, the final moments where Midajah and Vince Russo interfere turn this match into absolute shit, but BEFORE that happens, we get one of the best matches of either man's career (and by that in Steiner's case, I mean AFTER he becomes Big Poppa Pump). For Goldberg, it's probably one of the three best performances of his career period.

Goldberg vs. Diamond Dallas Page at Halloween Havoc 1998

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Randy Savage at Spring Stampede 1997

Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair at Souled Out 1998

And you can't go wrong with most cruiserweight matches that featured at least one of the following: Rey Mysterio, Juventud Guerrera, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Dean Malenko, Billy Kidman, Ultimo Dragon

One WCW TV match that sticks out and has always stuck out for me.

Hogan/Luger for the WCW World Heavyweight title, 1997. So many dramatics towards the final third of that match (nWo interference which ultimately comes to nothing) and a massive celeberation with just about every babyface on the roster congratulating Lex.

I can tolerate Cena now myself. The dude puts on good matches where necessary, depending on what he's given. Sometimes it works (every match with Styles), sometimes it doesn't (Flag match).

Another thing that almost became tradition in WCW, looking back. Big babyface celebrations also occurred in the following...

- Sting vs Hogan, Starrcade 97
- Flair vs Bischoff on Nitro, December 28, 1998

WWE even got a piece of the action with Austin vs Angle at Unforgiven 2001. That celebration was worth it just to see Taka Michinoku for the first time in months, and the only time X-Pac appeared on screen and didn't get booed.
