Wolves card is iffy because feral spirits stopped seeing play once Tunnel Trogg left but maybe if you are still playing handbuff for some reason you'd play it?

Thing about Saronite Chain Gang is that it's going to be obnoxious to handle in a topdeck war. At worst, you can summon it twice and still use your hero power, which is even worse than dealing with the shaman who has all four totems up and keeps replacing taunt totem each turn to stop your one threat. Honestly, I would consider throwing this in decks as a one-of just to handle big threats over the long haul. Sure, a direct answer is better, but a direct answer only handles one problem.

I think the chain gang will see play for a couple reasons. First, it costs one less mana overall than Feral Spirit thanks to the overload (tempo vs value), and second it costs four to the spirit wolves two. Evolve decks will love it. Plus the whole neutral card thing opens up some options.

It seems WAY better than Pantry Spider for Evolve decks. Spider is decent evolve value but the body is pretty useless, but this can actually be useful without evolve.

Ugh why is the Druid one so lame? Druid class identity seems to be "1/2s and 1/5s" this set. At least it seems like it combos with Fandral, and maybe ramping into it is....maybe ok.

Druid has a case for being the best class so it's fine, think they got some decent Arena cards and the hero power is pretty strong

control paladin, while already nuts, is going to be absolutely bonkers

3 armor per turn is not to be underestimated. control warrior was able to exist off of a 4 armor per turn with justicar, and I think druid honestly has more BIG cards to crush in the late game and can ramp there faster. I think a ramp/control druid hybrid might be born out of this. I'd be interested to try it out at least. high health taunts to delay the game or poisonous minions for hard removal also seem to fit into that style of play.

biggest problem druid still has is cleaning up a full board and this hero card does not seem to help with that problem at all.

Druid's removal is pretty abysmal for both single target and aoe so I don't see a control style working. Poisonous bugs just seem way too slow with the opponent getting a chance to remove them or make better trades unless you get them out ahead of the thing you want to kill. Druid's also not too interested in playing the long game. They tend to go to fatigue faster than the opponent and would rather slam a big taunt to protect their life total than sit around armoring. The 3 attack is more appealing to me since it's basically repeatable light removal or face damage, and at 7 mana it's not horrible but I can't help comparing it to Justicar, which saw no play in Druid. I want to give it a shot but if I'm playing taunt druid I gotta wonder why not play more taunt?

The closest we've had to control Druid were those Yogg Druid decks (token and Malygos) around ONIK, riding off the power of Yogg because that is exactly how desparate Druid is for board clear. (Goodnight sweet prince)

my understanding is that it doesn't come down quickly enough on curve to help manage the board. priests Holy Nova has the same problem although it does see some play. essentially by the time you have 5 mana available if you have left a bunch of 2 health minions on the board they've probably already torn through your health total -- and there's likely things with more than 2 health which the Holy Nova won't even clean up. Starfall has the exact same problem.

Because they run Primordial Drake.

Pre-Un'Goro they didn't run it because it didn't really help against those matchups. It was better to just ramp up and develop strong boards with Teacher Combos, or just Azure Drake + Swipe or even Geddon to clear the board against those decks and develop threats. That, and they had Raven Idol so if they really desperately needed it they could just pick it up from that.

My only concerns are maybe too many expensive cards and lack of AoE. But this should do pretty well, I think.

So I guess if you play a weapon while having two equipped you could choose which to replace. Or at least I hope so.

Another random bit of WoW trivia. When they first introduced Dual Specialization (the ability to save two different sets of how your talent points are spent, being able to freely swap them out without having to pay gold), there was a glitch with one of the warrior talents. You could spec Fury and get the ability to dual-wield two-handed weapons, then change your spec back to Arms and still have dual two-handers, and warriors just wrecked face in pvp until it was fixed. It was pretty glorious.

Barely eked out the first win after a priest got deathwing from free from amber. He was at 3 and I was in the upper 20s, but I'd basically lost if I didn't topdeck fireball when I did.

No, this is what i mean, I watched that clip and thought he was just trolling. It's when I watched the full video for the minute after and saw that kinda awkward regret smile when he says next card Happy Ghoul that made me believe it might be real. Like that part doesn't feel like acting, it looks like genuine "oh shit did I really do that?? i am in so much trouble" going on inside his head.
