I'm just curious if anybody knows how seriously they're taken. There's one that began on August 17 and closes Sept. 16, with over 308k signatures, requesting that Antifa be officially recognized as a terrorist organization. I really hope this comes to pass...

They did a petition to get nick Diaz's suspension for marijuana and when they finally hit 10k signatures or whatever was required they finally get a message back it pretty much said lol no.

Bahahaha, there's one for Trump to release his tax returns, and one for him to put his business in a blind trust. Lord knows they won't respond to those. Maybe they just aren't responding at all to avoid having to respond to those.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Trump's administration doesn't even check the We The People petitions.

They go to people who really actually don't give a shit about the issues. AKA, the federal government.

It's a joke website, that enables the people to seem like their voices are heard, until they tell you "sorry, we don't actually give two shits, and you should have known that already, but thanks for letting us know we're disappointing you"

ehh haven't heard about that, sort of a waste of time for a large chunk of the government to sit around and discuss it as compared to like a 3 sentence response by a single president

edit: though I do think state, in the US apparently did the same, never saw it for myself buy heard about some state having zombie emergency plans on their official website.
