It's both flattering and heart-breaking. It's nice to hear him say that, but it's saddening to think he'd rather these features in someone else. ;_; I can't help but think, "If I could pass as a girl this whole time, I bet you wouldn't be saying that... ¬_¬" Anyway, I continue to be friend-zoned...

I'd feel like Mary Poppins in a dress like that. White too, I'm far too messy of a person to keep that working. Personally, I'm not a fan.

As far as skirts go, I like them going a tad bit shorter. (It's strange I'm saying that since I almost always rather things longer) While it is a light color, it looks like it would be hot as Hell to wear.

Of course, I wear dresses once in every blue moon anyways. Just give me a nice top (Like the one I wore today.... grey with black and white crisp-lined flowers all over it), Black tight leggings, knee-high boots, some hoop earrings and a necklace and I am good to go.

"Transitioning" is too generous a term, as it implies there will ever be any progress. But yes, I am trying to do that. I was trying to say that if I had managed to pass as a girl this whole time, like I wish I could do (and certain people around here can ¬_¬) then I'm sure his response would've been a lot different.

Does it look that goofy? ;_; In 3 posts I go from having a little boost in confidence about my idea to having it absolutely shattered again.

Well, I can't wear short skirts, sadly. And does it seem like it would be that hot...? There are some similar dresses this seller has that have shorter sleeves, if you think I should go with that instead... I just figured covering my arms entirely was my safest bet.

That sounds really fasionable and cute. I wish I had that sort of fashion sense. (Then again, I'd need to have the looks to pull something off...) I do want to get some boots too, but haven't had much money or time to shop for anything. Knee-high would look ridiculous on me, though. But aren't leggings supposed to be worn under shorts, or pants, or something?

Well, you do you. I just personally don't like the dress.

My style just mimics what women my age wear. Yes, I do believe it is cute and I feel it wearing what I do. I know I don't stand out. It's my attempt at following feminine fashion. The issue is that, from trans woman to fellow trans woman, I feel like there's a psychological side to all of us that sort of gravitate towards dresses at first. Why? Well, they are pretty as Hell. I remember seeing this Quinceneara dress website and I was like "Woooooooooooow" back in my.... teens? I mean sure, I am not a dress person now, but that's because I just..... adapted to what everyone else wore. I mean, imagine how ridiculous I would look walking down the street in a Quinceneara dress. God, the humiliation.

I personally think trans women can look amazing avoiding dresses and doing what women typically do.... wear dresses only occasionally, situation permitting.

Pardon my room, but it is messy. I need to clean it, but here's a reflection shot of my clothes before I change:

Myself, I'd ditch the sleeves. It's all just too much, and it's all white. Needs something to break up the pattern, even like, a colored belt. Yeah, probably just needs better accessorizing.

I wear jeans. Like, most of the time xD.

Or sometimes I'll wear long leggings with a short skirt over it (I don't really feel safe in short skirts on campus since, well I don't want to get into it but campus isn't good)

But I'll wear dresses sometimes (kinda more because my mom used to make me I'm not too into it other than fancy occasions)

I also think it's a misconception that women can only be beautiful/proper in dresses so even at fancy events I'll wear other things just to show that's I can make it look good! If I can. Who knows maybe I'm uggo.

Point is if you like the dress that's enough. The right kinda guys will be into it, guys who aren't well it's one dress so it's no biggie, and if it's that big of a deal then the right guy for you will get it.

Replace "Quinceanera" with a majority of stuff you guys can get away with, and you have the same feelings of humiliation and ridiculousness. Also, isn't a quinceanera dress essentially a wedding dress? Yeah, to be honest, that would look kinda silly...

I have to wear jeans, too. I never go out in a skirt or dress. Not skinny jeans though, that would just look terrible. And if I do wear a skirt, leggings would probably be the best idea in my case, too. So you're not the only one. And I don't think your fashion sense is uggo. I doubt it would be criticized as much as my ideas are, after all.

Well, I mean the dress thing is still in the early transitioning stages. When you are further into it, you might pull away from them some. No idea though.

Quinceneara dresses are like Mexican sweet 16s or something like that but yeah, they look like ball gowns. I am glad I am through with that.

The dress is super, super pricey for what it is. I mean, I know that guy you like likes it. You like it. If you want it, go for it. Just because I don't like it, that doesn't mean you shouldn't. There's a reason there are different styles and designs to everything.

I didn't block my face on purpose. I just couldn't angle a good enough shot. To get my whole body, I had to do an above downwards shot. Additionally, I just posted pictures last night too:
